  Worst vet EVER he is hateful Nd abusive twords the animals. He takes up volunteer work to look good for his clients. I worked here in high school and can honestly say he is a walking demon. He only treats his own dog with care and love numerous times I witnessed him smack tiny Chihuahuas hit bigger dogs in the head and nobody knows because of the fake face he puts on. Talk about the devil in sheep's clothing. I didn't want to leave here and yes I QUIT because of his abuse and my dad came down and tried to toe to toe with him but of course he only picks on animals smaller than him and beats his wife black and blue. Anyone who honestly thinks he is a good person to their animals isn't someone who pays enough attention to them. If you can't see this fool for what darkness he has inside ur just as bad as he. He has anger problems severely but talking with him once u would never suspect how evil he is. He should not be in business. I felt bad for leaving all of your helpless animals with him but I can't save them all. Working for him made me not want to work in a vet ever again but I gave it a go anyways and realized there are so much more wonderful vet doctors who really love the animals but this one is a rotten APPLE. DONT BOTHER COMMENTING BROOKS YOUR REPLIES ARE ALL JUST AS FAKE AS UR CARE FOR HELPLESS ANIMALS. AND I THINK U ARE A COWARD!!!!! SHOW UR TRUE COLORS AND STOP ACTING. U NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN AND I HOPE THAT DAY IS COMING SOON I CANT BELIEVE UR STILL UP AND RUNNING. All the support from his "church" clients don't see his demons??? Strange. I will never recommend him to anyone ever I have nothing but bad to say about BROOKS. WIFE BEATING PUNK. I believe he stays in his office to contemplate the responses he will give here on Google to keep making himself falsely look good. DONT TAKE YOUR BABIES TO BROOKS THEY WONT BE THE SAME. I WILL NEVER FORGET THE HORRID THINGS I SAW AND HOW HE TREATED ME WHEN I TRIED TO STAND MY GROUND WITH HIM. COWARD, COWARD, COWARD. AND TO HIS FRIENDS UR ALL BLIND!! HIS KENNEL AREA IS DISCUSTING AND LOOKS LIKE TINY BOXES! POOR ANIMALS BEING BOARDED THERE ARE PROBABLY TRAUMATIZED BY THE TINY SPACE THEY HAVE TO STAY IN. PLEASE DONT TAKE UR ANIMALS THERE IF THEY ARE LIKE FAMILY AND U LOVE THEM AT ALL TRUST WHAT UR READING. GOOGLE OTHER CLINICS NONE OF THEM HAVE ANY COMMENTS ON THERE PAGES THAT SAY ANYTHING ABOUT ABUSE. or the animals being abused. That should tell u something. Be smart don't overlook what u read these people are being honest when they say these events took place and they saw the same things. Be smart.

  I CANT BELIEVE THIS PLACE IS STILL OPEN. I worked for Bartow Animal Clinic for about a week. While there, I witnessed the Vet tech/receptionist smack the dogs in the face with the nail clippers to subdue them while trimming their nails. She also threatened to take my check away and use it to buy new locks. I may have not turned the key in as quickly as they would have liked, considering I was on vacation, but WITHHOLDING CHECKS FROM EMPLOYEES IS ILLEGAL. The vet tech also used the N word multiple times. How could I tell dr brooks about it when he is just as evil as she was? He is SO RUDE to his employees and will call you stupid and incompetent. It's abuse. The staff and the animals are abused and it's so sad. Please do not take your pets here. Go elsewhere.

  Love the people, very friendly, helpful, caring. Doctor Brooks is the best and goes over and beyond to help care for his patients. The whole staff knows what their doing and the office is clean and very animal friendly..I will travel as far as I have to in order for my pets to go to this clinic.
